Safety on an Ocellis site

Direction marketing et communication

Published on

At Ocellis, safety is not just a regulatory constraint: it’s a daily commitment, a culture, an absolute priority.

Inspired by Anglo-Saxon practices, we set an ambitious goal: Zero accidents on our sites. ?

A comprehensive approach for enhanced safety.

To achieve this, we have implemented a proactive strategy based on prevention, training, and collaboration. Specifically, this means:

Intensive training and awareness
Every participant, from apprentice to manager, is trained on site-specific safety rules: first aid, fire extinguisher handling, scaffolding use… A safe site is a productive site, where everyone returns home safely.

Daily planning and transparency
A whiteboard installed at the site entrance displays in real-time: the schedule, risk zones, present first responders. A simple but powerful tool for flawless coordination.

Weekly on-site meetings
Every week, we discuss with the teams the identified risks, the solutions implemented, and feedback from experience. This collaborative approach strengthens collective vigilance.

Regular inspections and continuous improvement
Inspection visits are organized with our teams, the client, the project management team, and external experts. Goal: detect every detail to improve and ensure optimal safety.

"Safety Week": a key period dedicated to safety
We organize a special week where workshops, exchanges, and training deepen our prevention reflexes and sharing of best practices.

Equipment and ongoing prevention
Every visitor and worker is equipped with appropriate PPE, and defibrillators/extinguishers are systematically accessible.

Personalized risk analysis
With each subcontractor, we analyze the risks related to their activities and jointly develop tailored RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statement).

Our mission: Zero accidents

We do not just comply with standards; we seek to redefine them. Because beyond regulations, it is primarily a human commitment: protecting those who build our projects.

Safety is not just a rule to follow. It is a culture to embed in every decision and action. And this is how we build, together, safer and more efficient sites.
